Depression & Anxiety
Help is available.
Depression and anxiety do not always look the way we expect them to. Sometimes depression feels like deep sadness, but it can also show up as low mood, exhaustion, irritability, numbness, disconnection, grief, or simply a heaviness you cannot seem to shake. Anxiety may feel like constant worry or racing thoughts, but it can also appear as tension, perfectionism, avoidance, intrusive thoughts, compulsive patterns, or the feeling that everything around you is slipping out of your control.
For some people, these experiences come and go. For others, they begin to shape daily life affecting sleep, relationships, work, motivation, confidence, or the ability to feel present and connected. Anxiety and depression can also overlap with grief, trauma, OCD, major life changes, and periods of prolonged stress.
Therapy offers a space to slow down, understand what you are carrying, and begin finding steadier ways to cope. Together, we can explore the thoughts, emotions, stressors, experiences, and patterns that may be keeping you stuck, while also identifying what helps you feel more grounded, connected, and like yourself again.
You and your therapist will also talk about the different ways healing can happen and what may help you begin to regain a sense of hope. Our therapists use a variety of approaches to support depression, anxiety, and the feelings that often come with them. The path may look different for each person, but the goal remains the same: to help you restore, protect, and strengthen your inner light.
Healing from depression and anxiety is not about forcing yourself to “just feel better.” It is about gently reconnecting with that inner light, giving it room to breathe, and allowing it to grow stronger — one step, one breath, and one meaningful change at a time.
